I am an industrious freelance journalist who has written for the Financial Times Group, Metro Online, the Mail on Sunday, the Huffington Post and a number of other newspapers, magazines and online news sites.

I graduated from the University of Lincoln with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Journalism and the NCTJ 'gold standard' Diploma in Journalism, which includes 100wpm shorthand and media law. I'm interested in most topics, especially current affairs, entertainment, travel and sport.

  • Produced in-depth insight reports using quantitative and qualitative data for some of the world’s largest technology, automotive and FMCG firms, including Sony, Stellantis and Pladis.

Event Magazine: The Mail on Sunday’s culture and entertainment magazine read by over 1.6 million people a week

January 2019 – February 2019

  • Wrote, sub-edited and researched features for Event Magazine, the Mail on Sunday’s premium arts and culture magazine, which were then uploaded onto the MailOnline using their custom-built CMS.

  • Took charge of Event’s social media strategy, analysing competitors’ styles and creating enticing copy for the outlet’s 50,000 social media followers.

  • Worked alongside the wider Editorial, Marketing and Project Management teams to deliver media analysis reports.
